World Environment Day

So today being #WorldEnvironmentDay means we get to appreciate earth’s wonderful blessings and bounties but also introspect on the negative impact we had, having and will have.
So I’m excited to share some time with you and 2 incredibly powerful young minds, who are using their energies to a greener world tomorrow (Sunday) 6 June 2021 at 11h00. If you miss it, you can catch it on IGTV later.
@sentient_cay – Cayley Cammell is a Marine Sciences student from Johannesburg who actively commits to protecting the Earth. She is a member of Greenpeace Africa, is a qualified Divemaster and runs a plastic-free product business. With great plans to help make our oceans a better place, she has combined all of the above activities along with her studies to continuously educate those around her and better the oceans and our planet.
@earth_khalid – Khalid Mather is from the coastal town of Stanger, KwaZulu-Natal. Khalid is committed to environmental justice as he recognizes that access to a clean, healthy environment which serves all people is a human right. He previously served as the advocacy Coordinator for WildOceans uniting the interests of youth, communities and science, he now has plans to further his studies and is an avid climate advocate expressing that the climate crisis is a human rights issue and not only and environmental concern.
